CHICAGO — Looking for the purr-fect companion to start the New Year off with?
The South Loop's PetSmart is offering half off the adoption fee of any adult feline friend at its Everyday Adoption Center in hopes of finding new homes for the large amount of cats up for adoption.
The Anti-Cruelty society recently teamed up with PetSmart Charities to open a satellite adoption center, which will hold about 50 animals for adoption. The new center, which opened in October, hopes to help the Anti-Cruelty Society adopt an additional 1,000 animals each year.
The "Friends and Family" coupon is good through Dec. 30.
