CHICAGO — Two teenagers were shot — one fatally — on the South Side Thursday afternoon.

In Greater Grand Crossing, a 19-year-old was killed when he was shot multiple times in the 7800 block of South Stewart Avenue about 2:40 p.m., police said.

Andre Hunter, 19, of the 7900 block of South Princeton Avenue, was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center at 3:34 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Around 2:15 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in his shoulder in the 7300 block of South Shore Drive in South Shore. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in "stable condition," police said.

No one was in custody for either shooting, and no further details were available Thursday night.
