NORTH CENTER — Less than a year after Jury's closed and reopened as Copper House, the North Center restaurant and bar is changing names, and owners, again.

The management team behind Fountainhead, 1970 W. Montrose Ave., announced Wednesday it had contracted to buy Copper House, 4337 N. Lincoln Ave.

"We are excited to be extending our presence in the North Side's thriving food and beverage community," managing partner Aaron Zacharias said in a statement. "We look forward to creating a stellar food and beverage program worthy of this flourishing neighborhood.”

The Fountainhead team, which also operates The Bar on Buena, will begin running the North Center business immediately under the interim name Meantime. Patrick Eberle, former general manager of Sheffield's Beer and Wine Garden, has been named the head of beverage.

Guests can expect some instant changes to the food and drinks menus, which will offer more seasonal items.

Meantime will close in March while the team develops a new concept for the space. Meantime's successor is set to open in late spring.

Copper House opened in February after operating as Jury's for 15 years.
