CHICAGO — Events in Lincoln Park Monday include a DJ performance and plays exclusively put on by women.

Bechdel Fest at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave., 7 p.m.

Broken Nose Theatre is starts the second week of a two-week run of this festival featuring nine 15-minute plays that are exclusively written, directed and performed by women. Tickets are $15 and if you miss Monday's performance, you can try going again Tuesday or Wednesday.

Tonic Room Holiday Party, 2447 N. Halsted St., 8 p.m.

Catch a night of free music at the Tonic Room at this 21-and-over event. The lineup features My Boy Elroy, a Chicago-based DJ and beat boxer; Marcus Rezak, a guitarist and composer; and The Taste Testers, who are inspired by David Byrne and seem to do a little bit of everything.
