CHICAGO — A man is dead after he crashed a Cadillac into a North Park storefront early Saturday morning, authorities said.
The 64-year-old man was the only occupant of the 1995 Cadillac that crashed into a storefront in the 6200 block of North Pulaski Road about 12:55 a.m., police said.
The man, identified as Jose Vidal, of the 6200 block of North Mozart Street, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:18 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The police department's Major Accidents Unit is investigating the crash.
