CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times in his chest in South Chicago Monday.

The shooting occurred about 6:30 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Muskegon Avenue, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.

The teen was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he's listed in critical condition.

No further information was available.
