HYDE PARK — A University of Chicago student was pushed into an alley and fondled by two men on Friday, according to a safety alert from the university.

At 7:30 p.m. Friday, a student leaving campus on South Blackstone Avenue between 57th and 58th streets said she was pushed into an alley and fondled by the men.

The victim was not injured, according to a safety alert sent to students and staff on Saturday by Michele A. Rasmussen, dean of students at the university.

The victim walked home after the incident and later told friends and a university staff member about it, but it was not reported to police, according to the alert.
