77-Year-Old Man Stabbed by 65-Year-Old Man in Woodlawn, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 77-year-old man was hospitalized after an argument with a 65-year-old man in a Woodlawn apartment building ended with the older man getting stabbed, police said.

The 65-year-old man was detained by police but let go shortly after the incident at 10 p.m. in the 6200 block of South Park Shore East Court, police said.

During the argument in the building, the younger man stabbed the other in his left arm, police said.

The injured man was taken to University of Chicago Hospitals and was listed in "stable" condition.
