PILSEN — When Cesar Augusto Gonzalez opened his Pl-Zen gastropub in Pilsen, he wanted to offer something a little different.
"We're always looking for a place to eat, something with no tacos or quesadillas," he said of the wide expanse of Mexican offerings in Pilsen. "We said, 'You know what? We love burgers. We love beer. So let's open a joint with burgers and beers.' "
