CHICAGO — Continuing a 10-year tradition, Second City is opening its living room to the public for the holiday season.

Tickets are now on sale for "Our Living Room Show," a special Second City night of comedy and music with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy and more than a half dozen popular comedians.

Grammy Award winner Tweedy will play a live set on Jan. 6, after a 1-1/2-hour sketch comedy and improv performance from Second City alumni, including "Saturday Night Live" stars Aidy Bryant, Mike O'Brien, Tim Robinson, Horatio Sanz and Cecily Strong. Other Second City alums set to perform include Kevin Dorff of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien;" TJ Jagodowski of Chicago's own TJ & Dave and Cash Cab Chicago's Beth Meleski.

Tickets start at $300 each for 200 standard seats and $500 each for 35 first row seats. Twenty-three premium rail tickets will go for $1,000 and include one song request that Tweedy will play during the show.

For the past decade, Tweedy has been auctioning off private "Living Room" concerts during The Second City's 24-hour improv/music marathon, raising more than a half million dollars for disadvantaged Chicago families. Tickets from this year's event will benefit families from Onward Neighborhood House and Letters to Santa.

Doors open for the show at UP Comedy Club at 6 p.m. For more information, visit letterstosantachicago.com, The Second City That Never Sleeps: 24 Hour’s official Facebook page, upcomedyclub.com or call the Up Box Office at 312-337-3992.
