WICKER PARK —  Message to the passerby in the Milwaukee, Damen and North avenues intersection: "You are wonderfully glorious."

Come Friday, the six corners intersection will offer more than traffic congestion and people watching opportunities, when four continuous hours of poetic messages and live video will be projected onto the facades of three Landmark buildings.

Aided by $30,000 in funding from the Special Service Area Taxpayer District No. 33, artists from Collaboraction Theatre Company will operate "a multi-channel architectural video projection installation" from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Jan. 3, 2014.

The "I Celebrate Exuberance While You Wave" project will include short poems such as "You are wonderfully glorious," "I love beautiful eyes," and "I celebrate exuberance when you wave."

The phrases will be projected by video onto the facades of the Black Building Trust, which contains Starbucks and City Soles, at 1564 N. Damen Ave., the Northwest Tower at 1600 N. Milwaukee Ave, and Walgreen's at 1601 N. Milwaukee Ave.

In a news release, organizers said the project "serves as a public engagement of the Wicker Park-Bucktown SSA #33 to bring a sense of celebration and appreciation to the neighborhood."

In addition to poetry, the installation — operated by video designer Liviu Pasare and Collaboraction's Artistic Director Anthony Moseley — also includes a live video element showcasing people on the street.

Mosely will engage passerby with his video camera; check out a preview of Mosely's work on YouTube.

"We wanted to create a warm relationship between the viewers, the poem and the architecture that simulates the unspoken emotions we feel but do not say when we have a shared experience with someone," Moseley said in a news release.

An opening reception for "I Celebrate Exuberance While You Wave" is scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at Collaboraction's theatre, located on the third floor of the Flat Iron Arts Building at 1579 N. Milwaukee Ave.
