COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A Woodlawn woman was arrested after she tried to throw a Molotov cocktail at her sister's car on Saturday but was thwarted by by her teenage son, according to a police arrest report and court documents.
Colette Rudolph, 34, of the 6100 block of South Langley Avenue, was charged with attempted arson and possession of an explosive/incendiary device.
Ruldolph was in the 6200 block of South Langley Avenue about 12:20 p.m. Saturday when she tried to throw a Molotov cocktail at her 37-year-old sister's 2006 Chevy van while her sister and others were still inside the parked car, according to an arrest report and court documents.
According to Assistant State's Attorney Anthony Lucafo, Rudolph said, "I got something for all you bitches."
But Rudolph's 15-year-old son was there and knocked the bottle out of her hands, according to the report.
No one was hurt in the attempted attack, Lucafo said.
Judge James Brown ordered Rudolph held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
