CHICAGO — Two people were shot in seperate incidents overnight, and another man was stabbed early Friday morning.

Around 12:30 a.m. Friday, a 24-year-old man was stabbed in his torso during a fight between his brother and another man in the first block of North Pine in South Austin, police said. He was taken to Loretto Hospital and transferred to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

In the most recent shooting, a 27-year-old man was grazed in the forehead when shots were fired from outside a home in the 1400 block of East 76th Street in Grand Crossing at midnight, police said. Family took the man to Jackson Park Hospital in good condition, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.

About ten minutes earlier, a 22-year-old man was found shot in his left leg in an alley near the 4800 block of South Bishop Street in New City. The man was highly intoxicated and refused medical attention, said Alfaro.
