HUMBOLDT PARK — Love deep discounts and planning 10 months in advance? Then you're in luck, because Riot Fest will offer a limited number of discounted passes to Riot Fest 2014 starting Wednesday at noon.
The three-day passes start at $69.98, or about $23 a day. A number of three-day VIP passes will also go on sale.
The Riot Fest website did not say how much VIP passes, which include access to a VIP lounge, "special viewing areas" and drink tickets, would go for. Last year's started at $100 more than regular passes.
A lineup for the three-day punk-centric music festival and carnival, scheduled to be held Sept. 12-14, has yet to be announced. Last year's lineup featured about 80 acts, including the Replacements, Pixies, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, the Violent Femmes and Rancid.
"Rest assured, it's going to be epic," Riot Fest spokeswoman Heather West said Tuesday. "It's going to be bigger than last year in every respect."
