CHICAGO — The northbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway are open after being temporarily closed at 57th Street while emergency crews responded to what was reportedly a man threatening to jump onto the roadway.
CTA Red Line service between 47th Street and 63rd Street is running again after being suspended, the agency said.
The Tribune reported a man was walking in the roadway, then moved to the overpass at Garfield Boulevard.
The man was taken into custody about 5:45 p.m.
