CHICAGO — Future high school students, comedy lovers and electronic music fans all have something to do in the neighborhood Monday.

"Funniest Females of Chicago"

Zanies Comedy Night Club, 1548 N. Wells St., is hosting an all-woman bill Monday night featuring four nationally known comediennes hailing from Chicago: Sally Edwards, Patti Vasquez, Denise Ramsden and Emily Galati. The show is hosted by Nikki Brayden. Admission is $20 plus a two-item minimum, but men get in free by calling in a reservation to 312-337-4027. Show starts at 8:30 p.m.

For Future Lincoln Park High School Students

The neighborhood high school is hosting an informational session for prospective students and their families. The event is at the high school, 2001 N. Orchard St., at 5 p.m.

Active Child Plays Lincoln Hall

Pasadena, Calif.-based Pat Grossi, an electronic music artist who takes the stage with the name Active Child, released his new "Rapor EP" in October, which according to reports was produced in solitude in a secluded glass house miles from downtown Los Angeles. The result is a dreamy sound, which you can sample below. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $16.
