CHICAGO — Two people were taken to an area hospital after being stabbed in Uptown Thursday evening, police said.
Police responded to a call of a person with a knife in the 1000 block of West Lawrence Avenue around 5:40 p.m. Thursday, said Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti, a police spokeswoman.
When they arrived, they found two people who were stabbed by someone they knew during an earlier altercation, she said.
They were taken to Adovcate Illinois Masonic Hospital, and their condition was unknown, she said.
