WEST TOWN — The family of a 30-year-old man who was last seen outside a Halloween party in West Town is seeking public help in locating him.

Emmanuel "Manny" Dominguez, of southwest suburban Summit, hasn't been seen since Nov. 1, his family said Tuesday.

"The only thing we found was his car. He went to a Halloween party by Damen Avenue and Walnut Street," said Mauricio Vergara, a brother-in-law of Dominguez.

Dominguez has three brothers and four sisters helping in the search for him.

Vergara said Dominguez left his car parked outside the party, held a couple blocks north of the United Center. The car was discovered Friday "once we realized nobody has seen Emmanuel," Vergara said.

Summit resident Manny Dominguez, 30, has been missing since Nov. 1. Dominguez was last seen outside a warehouse at Damen Avenue and Walnut Street, where he attended a Halloween rave party, his brother-in-law said.

Vergara and 25 family members and friends, including Vergara's parents who flew in from St. Louis, spent all day Sunday putting up fliers with photos of Dominguez. The missing man has dark hair and eyes, is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Canvassing the Wicker Park and Humboldt Park areas, the group passed out fliers at businesses and residences and talked with homeless people in alleys, Vergara said.

Unmarried with no children, Dominguez was last seen by his ex-girlfriend, who was at the party, Vergara said.

Vergara described the party as "a rave" in an industrial area near Damen and Lake. Dominguez was not wearing a costume.

Liana Clark, a spokeswoman from Dana Hotel and Spa at 660 N. State St. said Dominguez has worked as a bartender at the hotel's restaurant, Freestyle food+drink, for the past six months.

"Manny is well-liked by his coworkers and can be described as a hard worker, professional, energetic and always willing to help out. We are all concerned and our thoughts remain with his family at this time. We continue to hope for his safe return," Clark said.

Anyone seeing Dominguez is encouraged to call 911 or the Summit Police Department at 708-458-1313.
