Cops Warn of Armed Robberies on the Near West Side

CHICAGO — Police are warning residents on the Near West Side to be cautious following two recent armed robberies.

The attacks occurred an hour apart on October 31, police said. Robbers approached victims, pulled a gun and stole property in the 1500 block of West Fulton Street around 2 a.m. and in the 800 block of North Hoyne Avenue around 3 a.m.

Cops described the suspects as black men between 30 and 35 years old. Witnesses believe the men were between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot 1 and weighed around 160-180 pounds.
