Pullman Walk Showcases Personal Altars Celebrating Day of the Dead

CHICAGO — The friends of the Pullman State Historic Site are showcasing personal altars celebrating the Day of the Dead in a door-to-door walk through Pullman.

The Dia de los Muertos walk will begin at Pullman Clock tower on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. followed by a reception from 6-8 p.m. at the Pullman Factory Site in the 11000 block of South Cottage Grove.

Participants will receive maps, tickets and more information at the Clock tower.

The cost of the walk is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Proceeds will support the Pullman State Historic Site.
