CHICAGO — Are you red-carpet ready?

A chance to see next year's Grammys in person in L.A. — instead of from your couch — is up for grabs at Rock for Kids' 25th annual "Rock and Roll Auction" in Lincoln Park next week.

Also being auctioned are signed guitars from B.B. King, Wilco and the Rolling Stones, and a Beatles' "Abbey Road" album signed by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

Proceeds from the event support Rock for Kids, a nonprofit that brings music lessons to underserved kids in Chicago.

In addition to the memorabilia, attendees can bid on behind-the-scenes concert tickets, like VIP packages for Lollapalooza, Metro and Bonnaroo.

Chicago-centered packages include an "Ultimate Dining Package" that takes foodies to Girl and The Goat, The J. Parker and five other restaurants. A summer fest package offers up VIP passes to A.V. Club/Hideout Block Party, Pitchfork and Riot Fest.

The event takes place Nov. 9 at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Ave., at 6:30 p.m. Early-bird discount tickets can be bought online for $50 through Sunday.
