CHICAGO — Wednesday's events in Lincoln Park and Old Town offer a little something for everyone, including pumpkin carving, a Second City walking tour and a show at Lincoln Hall.

Seasonal

McGee's 15th Annual Pumpkin Carving, 950 W. Webster Ave.; Oct. 23, 3 p.m.

As previously mentioned in DNAinfo Chicago's roundup of Halloween events in Lincoln Park, McGee's Tavern and Grill is hosting a family-friendly carving event from 3-6 p.m. Though seven kinds of pumpkin beers will be available for $4 all day, the bar says "adult" carving starts at 6 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three pumpkins. Carving is free.

The Second City's Neighborhood Tour, 1616 N. Wells St., 4 p.m.

If you've ever wanted to see your neighborhood in a funnier light, you can opt for one of Second City's last Old Town walking tours of the season this afternoon. The show, which takes people on a "historic and hilarious" tour of the neighborhood, starts in May and runs every Wednesday and Sunday until Oct. 30. Tickets are $15 per person, and advance registration online or by phone at 312-337-3992 is recommended.

Music

Real Estate with Landmarks at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

The New Jersey indie rock band Real Estate will be at Lincoln Hall Wednesday night along with opener Landmarks, an indie band from the UK. Tickets to see the show, for ages 21 and older, are $20 online.
