RIVER NORTH — A fall fashion show Sunday held at a city auto dealership revved up wardrobes and raised money for the YMCA.
Akira's 11th Annual Fall Fashion Show, dubbed Supersonic Boom, was hosted by Kristin Cavallari, a reality show star and wife of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
Held at the Grossinger City Autoplex, 1530 N. Dayton St., the show raised money for YMCA Metropolitan Chicago and featured what organizers called some of the city's "most beautiful models."
Fashion sponsors include Kristin Cavallari by Chinese Laundry, DL1961, Anthony Morato, Original Penguin and Puma.
Akira's city shops include locations Downtown on State Street and Water Tower Place, Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Andersonville and Hyde Park.
