CHICAGO — This alleged Chicago bank robber might want to find a new line of work.

Police are searching for a man they say walked away empty-handed — again — after trying to rob a bank in Uptown.

The man entered the a Bank of America branch at 4758 N. Racine Ave. about 10:20 a.m. and demanded money, but he then ran away without any cash, according to police and the FBI.

In September, the same man failed to rob one Loop bank, but then succeeded at a second a few doors down, officials said.

The alleged thief is described as black man in his late 50s to early 60s who stands 5-foot-9. He has been known to wear a baseball cap and a blue button-down shirt with a white shirt underneath, according to the FBI.

Officials ask anyone with information to call 312-421-6700.
