NORTH CENTER — Eat your way through North Center during the neighborhood's annual RestauranTour on Wednesday.

Stops on the tour run the gamut, from barbecue at Smokin' Woody's to Browntrout's farm-to-table cuisine. Neighborhood newcomers Monty Gaels and Johnny Casserole are joining in the fun, along with the reopened Piggery. For something sweet, there's Julius Meinl and Sweet Sensations Pastries.

Advance tickets are on sale now through the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce, either online or at the chamber's offices at 4054 N. Lincoln Ave. Tickets are $30 per person or $100 for groups of four; the price jumps to $35 the day of the event.

At the start of the tour, guests will receive a "passport" at the chamber's offices, to be stamped at each restaurant visited. Participating locations will be offering one- or two-ounce samplings of food or drink from their menus.

The RestauranTour runs from 5-9 p.m.
