CHICAGO — To save a few bucks on a bloody good time at Six Flags this Halloween season, Fright Fest fans can donate some blood of their own at Lincoln Park's LifeSource center later this week and get a discount coupon.
Those who donate blood at the LifeSource Donor Center at 1523 W. Fullerton Ave. from Saturday through Wednesday can receive a coupon to buy up to four Six Flags Great America tickets at $20 off general admission, the center said.
Full-price general admission tickets for Fright Fest go for about $65 each when bought at the park.
The coupon can be redeemed until Oct. 27, when the theme park's transformation into Spooky Town will end.
During the event, which runs on weekends, the 100-acre park offers haunted attractions and gives rides a Halloween makeover.
