LAKEVIEW — Must be time to get your ghoul on — costume and accessory shop Halloween Hallway has opened up its pop-up shops across the city again, with seven locations already in business in vacant storefronts.

Each year, the online shop opens six to ten locations during Halloween and then closes them in early November, said owner Brian Bowers. This year, about 70 percent of the stores will be stocked with accessories such as masks and props, moreso than in previous years.

"We’ve beefed up our accessory section so people can make their own costumes rather than spend a lot of money on pre-packaged costumes," Bowers said.

Halloween Hallway started in 2007 with one pop-up store in Lakeview. Bowers said one or two more locations may open this year before Halloween.

Here's where Halloween Hallway stores are this year:

Lakeview: 2820 N. Halsted St.

Uptown: 4001 N. Broadway

South Loop: 8 E. 9th St.

West Loop: 115 S. Clinton Ave.

The Loop: 127 W. Madison Ave.

River North: 806 N. Clark St.

Wicker Park: 1291 N. Milwaukee Ave.
