CHICAGO — Two men were shot in separate incidents Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The most recent shooting occurred about 4:24 a.m. in the 5000 block of South Karlov Avenue in Archer Heights.

A 27-year-old man, whose condition was unavailable Sunday morning, took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a police spokesman.

In a separate incident, a 20-year-old man was shot in the chest in the 600 block of North Kedzie Avenue in Humboldt Park at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, Zala said.
