CHICAGO — Cops rescued a man who jumped into Lake Michigan near Rogers Beach early Friday morning.

The 42-year-old man was walking a dog with other people when he jumped into the lake about 2:05 a.m., police said.

Once in the water, the man struggled and ended up clinging to a break wall.

After police pulled him out of the water, the man was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston in good condition.
