Teens Wanted for Robberies in Gage Park

CHICAGO — Teenagers as young as 14 are suspected of attacking and robbing Gage Park residents, police said.

Victims were surprised from behind by the robbers, who attacked the victims and then stole their property, according to a community alert issued Friday.

The robberies occurred about 8:20 p.m. Monday in the 5800 block of South Francisco Avenue and at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 5600 block of South Sacramento Avenue , police said.

The suspects are described as black teens between the ages of 14 to 18, standing 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9 and weighing 130 to 140 pounds, authorities said.
