CHICAGO — Three men were killed and one was wounded in shootings and stabbings across the city since Tuesday night.

Just after midnight Wednesday, a 51-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Humboldt Park, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.

Canfield was stabbed multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:04 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

In West Englewood, a 26-year-old man was shot dead about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Alfaro said.

Bradford was shot in the back of his head and rushed to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:22 p.m., authorities said.

About three hours earlier, a man in his 50s was fatally stabbed in a domestic incident in Portage Park, Alfaro said.

James Haarman, of the 3900 block of North Long Avenue, was attacked in his home about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday. Haarman was pronounced dead on the scene at 6:38 p.m.

No further information was immediately available.

A 24-year-old man was shot in his hip during a gang dispute in Humboldt Park about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Alfaro said.

The man was in the 1500 block of North St. Louis Avenue when he had a run-in with rival gang members. At least one pulled a gun and opened fire.

The victim was treated at Mount Sinai Hospital, Alfaro said.
