WRIGLEYVILLE — For one St. Louis Cardinals fan, last Friday's loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Field was truly painful.

A video posted on YouTube — and picked up by such sports sites as deadspin.com and thebiglead.com — shows the fan outside the stadium getting into an argument with another man believed to be a Cubs fan.

After clenching his fists, the Cardinal fan attempts to jump and kick the Cubs fan — with disastrous results. The man lands on his head with a thud, as other fans can be heard laughing. He gets up and takes another swing and misses.

While the video was posted on Aug. 19th, the game in question would appear to be from Friday, Aug. 16. The Cubs blanked the Cardinals 7-0 that day.

Writes the unidentified poster: "Well my first experience at a Chicago Cubs game is one that won't be forgotten! After winning against the cardinals 7-0 this drunk fan wasn't going down with out a fight. Little did he know he'd be fighting himself, and going down pretty hard! HA!"

The person who posted the video entitled it "Cardinal fan vs. Gravity."
