ROSELAND — A man was dropped off at a local hospital after being shot multiple times in Roseland, authorities said.

The 21-year-old man went to Roseland Hospital after being shot sometime before 9:20 a.m. Thursday and was in critical condition, said Officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman.

The victim is a known gang member, and the shooting might have been gang-related, according to police.

The man was apparently shot at 115th Street and Wentworth Avenue, Mirabelli said, citing preliminary information.

No one was in custody for the shooting.
