LINCOLN PARK — The Chipotle Cultivate Festival, set to take place in Lincoln Park in early September, will feature top Chicago and national chefs as well as music by Walk The Moon and Youngblood Hawke.

The free food and music festival, in its third year, will occur Sept. 7.

Other music acts include Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., The Mowgli's and Bestfriends.

Throughout the day, there will be cooking demos from Chicago chefs Paul Kahan of avec, Blackbird, Publican and Big Star as well as Graham Elliot of his namesake restaurant and recently closed Grahamwich.

Spiaggia chef Tony Mantuano and Curtis Duffy of Grace are also set to host demos at the event.

Chipotle estimates there were more than 25,000 attendees at last year's festival.

The Chicago event is one of three Chipotle Cultivate Festivals held nationwide. The other two are in San Francisco and Denver.

National celebrity chefs scheduled to appear include former Top Chef contestant Carla Hall, Los Angeles chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo, and Bryan Petroff and Douglas Quint of New York's Big Gay Ice Cream Truck.

Local brewery 5 Rabbit is working on a "Cultivate Farmhouse Ale" that will be served at the festival.

The free event is open to the public and runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The entrance to the festival is near the intersection of North Stockton Drive and LaSalle Street.
