CHICAGO — More than nine people, including a 13-year-old boy, were wounded in city shootings Monday evening through early Tuesday.

In East Garfield Park, a 27-year-old woman was taken to a hospital after she was shot at 1:53 a.m. Tuesday, police said. The woman suffered a graze wound to the head in the 300 block of South Mozart Street and was taken to John H. Stroger Hospital in "stable" condition, police said.

About 12:35 a.m., two men were shot in the 800 block of West 59th Street in Englewood. A 26-year-old man was shot in his stomach and another man in his 20s was shot in his neck, police said. Both men were taken to St. Bernard Hospital.

Hours earlier, a teenager was wounded in an apparent drive-by shooting in Austin. The 17-year-old boy was walking in the 5500 block of West Potomac Avenue about 9:38 p.m. Monday when shots were fired from a gray Buick, police said.

The teen was shot in his wrist and was taken to an area hospital where his condition stabilized, police said.

About 7:15 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Greater Grand Crossing. The man was shot in the arm in the 7100 block of South Michigan Avenue and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital where he was listed in "stable" condition, cops said.

About 6:47 p.m. in Greater Grand Crossing, a 13-year-old boy was shot, police said. The boy was in the 7500 block of South Ingleside Avenue when he was shot in his leg or foot and taken to Comer Children's Hospital, cops said.

Two shootings occurred at the ABLA-Robert Brooks Homes in University Village, police said.

A 21-year-old man and 53-year-old woman were shot in the 1300 block of West Washburne Avenue at 6:12 p.m., police said.

The man is a convicted felon and has documented gang affiliations, according to police.

Residents nearby said they heard four to seven shots.

Earlier just blocks away, a 23-year-old man was shot in his neck about 4:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Loomis Street, police said. He was sent to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

It is unclear if the University Village shootings are related.

Also overnight, a mother and her daughter were killed in an apparent murder-suicide attempt in Little Village in which a man shot them before turning the gun on himself.
