CHICAGO — A man was fatally shot Monday afternoon in Chicago Lawn, authorities said.
The 25-year-old man was shot multiple times near the intersection of West 66th Street and South Claremont Avenue about 4:22 p.m., said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
Jonathan Murray, who lived nearby in the 6600 block of South Oakley Avenue, was pronounced dead at 4:25 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No further information was immediately available.
