CHICAGO — Police are warning Brighton Park residents of an uptick on robberies during the month of July.

Police say a teen has approached people and phsyically attacked them before taking property. Incidents occurred on July 29 at about 1:50 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Fairfield Avenue, and on July 31 at about 9:10 p.m. in the 4900 block of South Fairfield Avenue.

The suspect is described as a male black, between 18 and 19 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds.
