Three Men Shot Wednesday on the South Side

CHICAGO — Three men were shot in Chicago Wednesday, police said.

A 28-year-old man was shot about 5:20 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Prairie Avenue in Grand Crossing, police said.

The man was hit in the buttocks and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was unknown.

Earlier, about 4:35 p.m., a man of an unknown age was shot in West Englewood.

The man was shot in the arms and legs in the 5800 block of South Winchester Avenue and was taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.

A man was also shot in the face in Chatham.

The 65-year-old man was hit about 12:25 p.m. in the 8200 block of South Maryland Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, police spokesman.

The man's injuries were non-life-threatening, and he was being treated on the scene, police said.

No one was in custody as of early Wednesday afternoon, police said.
