HYDE PARK — The Museum of Science and Industry is helping get science into South Side libraries.
Teen interns will branch out to local libraries to play Brain Games, a series of activities that will teach kids the science behind buildings, weather and machines.
Starting Monday, the teen interns will be at South Side libraries with games that explore the theories of various machines.
Kids who register for Brain Games will get a free pass to the museum, 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive.
The schedule for South Side libraries includes:
• Mount Greenwood, 11010 S. Kedzie Ave., 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday and Wednesday
• Walker, 11071 S. Hoyne Ave., 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday and Wednesday
• Scottsdale, 4101 W. 79th St., 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday and Wednesday
• Pullman, 11001 S. Indiana Ave., 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday and Wednesday
• Vodak-East Side, 3710 E. 106th St., 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Aug. 1
• West Lawn, 4020 W. 63rd St., 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Aug. 1
• West Pullman, 830 W. 119th St., 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Aug. 1
• Clearing, 6423 W. 63rd Place, 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Aug. 1
