CHICAGO — An O'Hare Airport police officer was busted for allegedly transporting heroin between Chicago and Milwaukee, authorities said.

Angela Brown was arrested shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday when she was stopped while driving a Toyota Camry north on I-94 in Oak Creek, Wis., south of Milwaukee, according to a federal affidavit.

Brown signed a consent form allowing a search of the car. Agents found an eyeglass case in the glove compartment that had two plastic bags holding 41.7 grams of heroin between them, the affidavit said.

Brown admitted to the agents that she was bringing the drugs to Milwaukee for a delivery.

The affidavit, penned by an FBI special agent, didn't include information about why the car was stopped. Milwaukee's WISN 12 reported that the car, which was used for weekly trips between the two cities, was being tracked by a hidden GPS device.

The station also reported that her aviation officer badge and uniform were found in the car.

Brown was charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver.
