CHICAGO — Get ready for a scorching week ahead, Chicago.

On Tuesday, temperatures could reach a high of 90 degrees with a "RealFeel" of 92 degrees, according to AccuWeather. Scattered thunderstorms could hit the area by evening.

A high of 88 degrees is expected for Wednesday, but the humidity likely will make it feel like 100 degrees, according to the AccuWeather. The rest of the week will likely continue to feel hot and humid, meteorologists warned.

AccuWeather predicts possible strong storms on Friday, and things are expected to cool down a bit on Saturday, with less humidity and a high of about 81 degrees.
