CHICAGO — White Sox fans will be able to see what talents the baseball players have outside of the baseball diamond.

On July 25, the White Sox Wives and White Sox charities will host Wild Pitches, a variety show to benefit local organizations. Paul and Jennifer Konerko will showcase their musical talents, and the bullpen pitchers will star in a comedy skit at the event.

"This is something that the wives put together," said spokesman Marty Maloney. "They were looking for something new and fun to generate some funds for White Sox charities."

Wild Pitches will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. July 25 at the Bridgeport Arts Center, 1200 W. 35th St. Pat Tomasulo of WGN will host the night, which will also feature comedian Pat McGann.

Tickets are $200, and there are only a limited amount available. They can be bought online. Proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children's Hospital.
