EDGEWATER — A newly constructed Walgreens opened Friday morning near other developments on North Broadway.
The pharmacy and grocery store at 6125 North Broadway joins the new Edgewater Library and soon-to-open LA Fitness next door.
Walgreens opened at 8 a.m. Friday and sells some groceries like fruit, pre-made sandwiches and chips.
It does not sell beer, wine or liquor.
The location has one-hour photo service.
LA Fitness is expected to open in the former Hancock Fabric store, at 6101 N. Broadway, by the end of the year.
