Check the fest's Facebook page during the Twelve Days of Irish Fest — July 3-14 — for daily chances to win tickets, CDs, t-shirts and other fest swag.
Irish Fest is set for July 12-14, 4626 N. Knox Ave. The event features an entertainment lineup packed with Irish music and dancing, poetry readings, one-act plays and language lessons. Cultural exhibits and hands-on demonstrations of Irish instruments will take place alongside whiskey tastings and a mashed potato eating contest.
Tickets purchased in advance by July 10 are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and free for children 12 and under. Tickets at the door cost $15.
