CHICAGO — Two men were wounded after they were shot in apparent West Side drive-by Tuesday morning.

They were near 26th Street and Kildare Avenue shortly before 11:30 a.m. when a van pulled up, someone fired shots and the van drove off, said Officer John Mirabelli, a police spokesman.

A 23-year-old was shot in his thigh, and a 17-year-old was shot in his shoulder and left leg, Mirabelli said. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition, according to Mirabelli. Their ages were not available.

No one is in custody.
