DUNNING — Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found with multiple stab wounds.

Police found Sarah Krasilova, 24, in a bedroom in the 6500 block of West Addison Street about 10:30 p.m. Monday, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.

Krasilova had been stabbed in her abdomen and chest, Alfaro said. She was pronounced dead at the Cook County Medical Examiner's office at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Krasilova might also have been strangled, ruled a Tuesday autopsy.

Authorities could not confirm Tuesday morning if Krasilova lived at the address where she was found.
