CHICAGO — A Beverly man died Thursday more than a month after being shot in the neighborhood, officials said.
Kyle Arrington, 34, of the 9100 block of South Damen Avenue, was shot May 15, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Arrington was shot several times about 12:45 p.m. inside a building in the 9900 block of South Walden Parkway, police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
Arrington was pronounced dead there about 6:20 a.m. Thursday, according to the medical examiner's office.
