CHICAGO — Two men were wounded in Park Manor shootings that happened about an hour apart, police said.

About 12:50 a.m., a 42-year-old man was sitting on a front porch in the 6900 block of King Drive when he heard shots, felt pain and realized he'd been wounded in his forehead, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in stable condition, Estrada said.

Then, at 2 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in his leg a few blocks away in the 7000 block of South Prairie Avenue, Estrada said. He refused medical attention.

Cops said it was unclear whether the shootings were connected. No one is in custody for either incident.
