NORTH PARK — No hanging out by the mailbox to see if you got the thick envelope. On Saturday, North Park University will let prospective students know on the spot whether they've been accepted or not.

Billed as an "All Access Day," North Park has designed this one-stop admissions event for individuals looking to transfer into the school or complete their bachelor's degree there — either as a traditional or non-traditional student.

The regular application fee is waived for those attending the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Academic advisers will be available, as will financial aid counseling. Accepted students will even be able to register for classes.

Potential students should bring copies of transcripts from previous colleges or universities to have them evaluated.

To best serve those attending, North Park asks individuals to RSVP to the event, indicating whether their goal is to transfer into a traditional undergraduate program or to take the non-traditional route and enroll in night, weekend or online courses.

North Park University is at 3225 W. Foster Ave. The admissions office for traditional students is on the first floor of the Old Main building; the office for non-traditional students is on the third floor of Old Main. A campus map can be found here.
