COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — Four tickets to a Justin Bieber concert at the United Center purchased on Craigslist.com turned out to be fake — and the seller is now facing charges, prosecutors said.

Cook County prosecutors said Wednesday that a victim bought four tickets to the Bieber show for $800 from an online seller.

The victim figured out the tickets were fake, and when the seller — Charles Patterson, 19, of the 4500 block of North Laporte Avenue in Portage Park —  contacted him to see if he wanted more, authorities got involved, officials said.

"The victim met with the defendant again, purportedly to buy more tickets, and that's when he was placed under arrest," Assistant State's Attorney Erin Antonietti said.

Patterson appeared in Cook County bond court Wednesday charged with forgery.

Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. ordered Patterson held on $25,000 bond.
